Quite a majestic entrance to this property – a very stately mansion with all the ‘trappings’ of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the last battle on British soil in April 1746.

The sweeping manicured lawns and building-clad virginia creeper cannot fail to impress the visitor and rightly so – the current ‘Bonnie Prince Charlie’ has been a visitor here of course.

Within the elegance and charm of this hotel is true Highland hospitality – guests are met with a genuine welcome – there is a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere which immediately puts you at ease.

The ‘hands on’ approach from General Manager Stephen Davies is quite evident - he seems to be everywhere at the one time!

The food and beverage operation is quite exceptional. you will not be disappointed with the efforts of head chef Scott O’Keefe and his brigade.

Bedrooms and ensuite are lavish in their size (rooms 15 and 16 are my favourites) with quality furnishings and every modern amenity. Public areas form the same theme - complete comfort in a quite regal style. The complete experience.

The City of Inverness has itself a lot to offer the visitor – there are also a number of visitor and historical attractions in the area. Airport 15 minutes.
