Indeed a sad day for the food industry in Scotland when Andrew passed away in January at such an early age. A true Scot in every sense of the word and an icon in his own right. He was the complete master of his trade. The legacy continues at the famous Gleneagles hotel with General Manager Dale Dewsbury and head chef Stevie McLaughlin. Built on classical foundations technical skills are obvious and the outcome the perfect dining experience, perfectly executed. This was my 17th visit this year. Style of cooking can be described as classical French with a contemporary twist.

Sophisticated menus and wine list of note with carefully sourced ingredients from moor and glen, local farms and fresh produce from the well developed walled garden. Great ambience and the service was excellent once again. This is one for the connoisseur. A real testament to the skills of the kitchen brigade and a testimonial for the Scottish culinary industry.

Award winning restaurant with 2 Michelin Stars and 4 AA rosettes.
