An outstanding Victorian baronial mansion in a spectacular setting with panoramic views over Loch Torridon to the mountains beyond. Whether approaching from Kyle of Lochalsh or Kinlochbervie this is one of the most beautiful areas of north west Scotland.

In 1992 the Gregory family moved from Kinlochbervie Hotel to Torridon and undertook a massive overhaul of the building. It now ranks as one of the premier destinations in the country. Opulence abounds with luxury spacious bedrooms (classic to master suites) and public rooms offer every comfort – welcoming log fire in the main reception hall quite a feature.

The food here is quite exceptional. This is a highly-skilled operation led by head chef David Barnett. Diners expectations fully met. AA 3 rosette award demonstrates the dedication of the kitchen brigade.

The Torridon Inn nearby provides the option to dine in a more informal setting. Now known as an activity destination there are various pursuits to cover most requests.

Corporate enquiries welcome and maybe even a small wedding.

Voted AA Scottish Hotel of the Year (2012-2013). Your hosts Rohaise (née Gregory) and Daniel Rose-Bristow.

(First visited, 1993).
