This has been ‘home’ to head chef Charlie Lockley for the past 19 years.

No compromise here – cuisine which demonstrates a thorough grounding in classical techniques and equally at ease with modern or traditional dishes. Innovation with an element of excitement and all items made in house. Knows all his suppliers on a personal basis and only quality ingredients are used – foraged food such as herbs, fruit, wild garlic and chanterelles are mandatory.

Most attractive dining area which overlooks the manicured lawns and garden policies. Front of house staff show that professional attitude – efficient but extremely friendly.

The award of 4 AA rosettes and a Michelin Star is true testament to a lot of hard work by Charlie Lockley and his kitchen brigade.
