A very secluded and attractive location in Strathdon, not far from Alford. Operated by Master Chef of Great Britain David Littlewood and his brother-in-law Nigel Hake. Alexandria Hay now acting as head chef.

A very skilful food operation with a dedicated approach, sound technical skills using seasonal quality produce. Clear and well-defined flavours - meal perfectly executed. Chantarelles and other foraging on your doorstep.

The country inn ambience is prevalent – a relaxed, comfortable and friendly atmosphere but with seriously good food.

The Inn even has a private fishing beat on the salmon and trout-rich River Don. There are 4 miles of fishing rights and 20 pools – the area is renowned for its ‘hunting, stalking and fishing’.

There are 4 very comfortable en suite bedrooms. Designated area for private functions.
